Cognate with Parthian 𐫀𐫗𐫇𐫢 (ʾnwš /anōš/, “immortal”), Ossetian ӕнус (ænus, “eternity; century; age”) and Avestan 𐬀𐬥𐬀𐬊𐬱𐬀 (anaoša, “immortal”).
