เสพ • (sèep) (abstract noun การเสพ)

1. (formal, sometimes elegant) to consume.
   • เสพสุรา

     sèep sù-raa

     To drink liquor.

   • เสพอาหาร

     sèep aa-hǎan

     To eat food.

2. (formal, sometimes elegant) to enjoy; to receive pleasure or benefit (from).
   • เสพเมถุน

     sèep mee-tǔn

     To have sex.

   • มีสุขร่วมเสพ มีทุกข์ร่วมต้าน

     mii sùk rûuam sèep · mii túk rûuam dtâan

     Whenever there is happiness, we enjoy it together. Whenever there is suffering, we endure it together.
