Verb
間が抜ける • (ma ga nukeru) ichidan (stem 間が抜け (ma ga nuke), past 間が抜けた (ma ga nuketa))
Usage notes
- This phrase has a syntactical subject 間. Thus the semantic subject is usually indefinite or implied. Otherwise, the semantic subject can be introduced as an absolute topic with は/も, or as the possessor of the syntactical subject with の. Also, the subject marker が may be omitted, giving 間抜ける, or when the phrase is used attributively, may be replaced by の, giving 間の抜ける.
