Proto-Finnic
Etymology
From earlier *riŋeše, cognate with Komi-Zyrian рыныш (rynyš) and Udmurt иншыр (inšyr). Often reconstructed as Proto-Finno-Permic, but possibly rather an old Wanderwort.
