  1. (intransitive) to stand
    Nie mogę się doczekać, kiedy stanę na szczycie tej góry. ― I can't wait to stand on the summit of that mountain.

  2. (intransitive) to stop
    Maszyna zaskrzypiała i stanęła. ― The machine squeaked and stopped.
  3. (intransitive) to park
    Stanęliśmy pod sklepem. ― We parked next to the store.
  4. (intransitive) to step, to step on [+ na (object) = on something]
