I am unable to install GeoDjango. I am having the following error

django.core.exceptions.ImproperlyConfigured: Could not find the GDAL library (tried "gdal201", "gdal20", "gdal111", "gdal110", "gdal19"). Is GDAL installed? Try setting GDAL_LIBRARY_PATH in your settings.

I tried the following the solution GeoDjango could not find GDAL library in Windows 10. But it didn't help me and I still have the same error.

  • I happened to run into this post [How to install and configure PostGIS Raster on Windows](https://gis4free.wordpress.com/2011/03/10/how-to-install-and-configure-postgis-raster-on-windows/). I found this link very helpful to setup GDAL, postgres and postGIS in my system. – Anand Feb 16 '18 at 21:22
