In the new season, the running distance for women will be increased to 7.5 km in the classic Gundersen competition format, although 5 km is still possible.[5]

New “Individual Compact” format will be introduced for men and women, for which a small crystal globe will also be awarded. The jump should be followed by a run with fixed time intervals of six seconds per runner.
