Suffix

-dik

  1. Used to form verbal nouns, or non-subject participles. It has a realis sense, as opposed to -me. As any noun, it can take possessive suffixes to express person.
    Küçük kedi, dün getirdiğim sütü içti.
    The little cat drank the milk I brought yesterday (i.e. bringing the milk to the cat did happen).
