Of the root ك ر س (k-r-s). Deemed with such a shape borrowed from Aramaic כּוּרְסְיָא / ܟܘܪܣܝܐ (kursəyā), a wanderwort earlier present in Ugaritic 𐎋𐎒𐎜 (ksủ /kussīʾu/), Hebrew כיסא / כִּסֵּא (kissḗ), Akkadian 𒄑𒄖𒍝 (kussûm).
