- a high-ranking traditional chieftaincy title usually held by one of the six-highest ranking chiefs (Ìwàrẹ̀fà) of many Yoruba towns. The holder of this position usually fulfills religious and ritualistic roles in their respective towns. (The Àró of Ìlárá-Mọ̀kín is the chief priest of the worship of the deity Àjàlémògún).
