Etymology
Derived from an unknwon unattested stem *ti-, also similar to Proto-Mongolic *te-re (“that”) and Proto-Tungusic *ta- (“that”) in this way. (Can this(+) etymology be sourced?) Compare modern languages Mongolian тэр (ter) and Evenki тар (tar).
