ดาบ

From Proto-Southwestern Tai *ˀdaːpᴰᴸ³ (“sword”). Cognate with Northern Thai ᨯᩣ᩠ᨷ, Khün ᨯᩣ᩠ᨷ, Lao ດາບ (dāp), Lü ᦡᦱᧇ (ḋaab), Tai Dam ꪒꪱꪚ, Shan လၢပ်ႇ (làap), Tai Nüa ᥘᥣᥙᥱ (lǎap), Phake ꩫပ် (nap), Ahom 𑜃𑜆𑜫 (nap).
